====== How do I setup outgoing mail? ======

  - From the main menu bar, select ''Settings, Configuration, Outgoing mail''.
  - Click on the ''New'' button.
  - From the dialog box, select the user or leave the drop down box set to ''All Users'' if all users can use this outgoing mail server.
  
Fill out the E-mail settings as follows:

| Username | Mail box username, this may be your email address |
| Password | your mailbox password |
| Host | the name of the SMTP mail server  |
| Port | The SMTP server port, usually 25, 465 or 587 |
| Security | The server security protocol|
| Reply address | Your email address |
| Order By      | The order priority for this configuration |


Tick the box ''Copy all outgoing mail to reply address''

Click on the ''Test'' Button.  The software will attempt to send a test message your reply address.  It the test is successful, click the ''Ok'' button.  The outgoing email is not setup.

====== How do I setup outgoing mail with Gmail? ======

To use a Gmail account with AutoMagic you will need Two Factor Authentication active on your Gmail account.  With Two Factor authentication enabled, you can then generate an application password for AutoMagic.  Gmail account will not work with your login password.

====== How do I set up multiple emails address for the same user? ======
Follow the instructions in [[#How do I setup outgoing mail?]].

The ''Reply Address'' is used to select which address is used by default.  For example, if the trading as identity has an email address, then email addresses with the same domain name are preferred over other email addresses.

If there are multiple emails for the same domain, the ''Order By'' field can be used to set the order in which the email address are displayed.
