Installing CA Certificate on Android

You will need to down the mediamagic-root.crt file on to your device.

  1. In AutoMagic, select Settings, Web Services from main menu.
  2. Scan the first QR code Import the root certificate on your android device.
  3. This will download the mediamagic-root.crt file.

Android 11 and on

In Android 11, to install a CA certificate, users need to manually:

  1. Open settings.
  2. Go to 'Security' or 'Password & security'.
  3. Go to 'Encryption & Credentials'.
  4. Go to 'Install from storage'.
  5. Select 'CA Certificate' from the list of types available.
  6. Accept the warning message (install anyway).
  7. Browse to the certificate file on the device and open it.
  8. Confirm the certificate install.

OR

  1. Open settings
  2. In the search box, search for cert
  3. Select 'CA Certificate'.
  4. Select 'CA Certificate' again.
  5. Accept the warning message (install anyway).
  6. Browse to the certificate file on the device and open it, usually it will be in your downloads folder..
  7. Confirm the certificate install.

OR

  1. Open settings
  2. In the search box, search for install certificate from storage
  3. Select 'Install certificates from storage'.
  4. Select 'Install certificates from storage'. again
  5. Select 'CA certificate' from the install a certificate menu.
  6. Accept the warning message.
  7. Browse to the certificate file on the device and open it, usually it will be in your downloads folder..
  8. Confirm the certificate install.
