Setup Remote Access

Part 1

Install the Accio Launcher.

Double click on the file, the Accio icon to run the launcher.

Once the software has loaded:

  1. Tools, Generate Key Pair.
  2. The next dialog asks for a passphrase, please enter a password for protecting the key, confirm the password in the text box below and press OK
  3. An icon will appear for “accioid.pub”. If the icon is not present, close the program and restart the Accio software.
  4. Drag the “accioid.pub” icon to your desktop. This will create the file on your desktop.
  5. Close the Accio software.
  6. Email the “accioid.pub” file you have saved to your desktop.

You will need to send a ticket number by clicking on Settings→Remote Admin on the AutoMagic software.

Part 2

Double click on the file and the Accio remote access software will run.

If a dialog appears Looking for server, press the cancel button.

Once the software has loaded:

  1. New, Remote AutoMagic Launcher.
  2. In the dialog select JNLP over Secure Shell; If you are running MacOS choose WebStart Over Secure Shell
  3. Set the profile name, for example, the name of your business.
  4. Enter the host, this is the IP Address of your broadband connection.
  5. Enter the port number.
  6. Press Ok to close the dialog box.
  7. Click on the profile icon.
  8. Enter your passphrase and press Ok.

The software will now download and run. You must leave the Accio program running for as long as you are using AutoMagic. Once finished, close AutoMagic first and the quit the Accio remote access software.

It may take up to 30 mins to download the software the first time.
