In the event of a power cut, the server will power down and stay off. Before the software can start, you will need to start the server up again. Follow the start up instructions here.
Before you start, make sure there is a monitor attached and the screen is powered on The screen should look like the one shown in the How do I know the server is working correctly? section.
To shut down the server, click (DO NOT hold the button down) and immediately release the power button.
Wait for the server to shut down.
If you are planning to move the server, take a picture of the back of both the server and the battery pack where you can see the position of each cable.

See How do I know the server is working correctly? section and make sure the the server is not already switched on.
If you see nothing on the servers screen, or the monitor goes into Power Save
mode, the server is switched off.
If you are sure the server is switched off:
When the server is ready, the screen should look like the one shown in the How do I know the server is working correctly? section.

Attach a keyboard to the server and press CTRL + ALT + DEL
keys together.
The server will shutdown, reboot and return the the screen shown in the How do I know the server is working correctly? section.
It may take up to 15 minutes for the server to reboot.
