Location Layout

This section describes a Rack and Location naming scheme that can be used in a warehouse. The scheme will provide some redundancy so that when new locations are required they will fit in to the existing scheme without the need to renumber lots of locations.

A location number will have the following form. AREAAISLE-RACK-LEVEL-FIELD

A Rack number will be. AREAAISLE-RACK

An aisle number will be AREAAISLE
